Technical Maintenance Base

State-of-the-Art Aircraft Maintenance in Southeast Europe

Over the past few years, ifly has invested in a high-specification Maintenance Base at Megara Airport, along with a team of highly trained and experienced personnel to meet all aircraft maintenance needs. Located just a few kilometers outside of Athens, the Maintenance Base is the largest in terms of surface area and one of the most technologically advanced in Southeast Europe. Built to the highest standards, it ensures full compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations.

Certified Vendors for Supporting Services

To meet additional requirements such as fueling and consumables for aircraft hosted at the base, ifly exclusively uses certified vendors. These vendors are selected following rigorous checks to guarantee reliability and quality, adhering to international standards and practices.

Comprehensive Facilities

The Maintenance Base spans an impressive 4,000 square meters and is equipped with:

  • Maintenance Facilities: Includes aircraft electronic systems, a repair shop/sheet metal plant, and a battery workshop.
  • Specialized Infrastructure: Gantry, storage spaces, and a technical documentation library.
  • Administrative and Training Areas: Offices, seminar and staff training rooms, a reception area, and a cafeteria for staff.

EASA-Certified Technical Staff

ifly’s technical team is certified under EASA Part-66 and is capable of hosting a wide range of aircraft types for both line and base maintenance purposes. The expertise of the team ensures efficient maintenance and repair services for various aircraft categories.

In addition to the Megara base, ifly operates a line station at Athens International Airport (LGAV), serving as the primary base for its fleet of helicopters and airplanes used in flight operations.
