SMS-PART 145 Seminar
On Saturday 3rd November 2022, upon the initiative of the HCA’s inspector of flight standards Mr. Sotirakis Stamou, a four-hour seminar – sponsored by ifly – was organised on the topics of:
Transition to the new Part 145 and Part 21
Operation of SMS in organizational context (singular or integrated SMS)
Root cause analysis
Human factor – mainly psychology in CAMO/Part 145 organisations
The opening presentation was made by ifly’s CAMO compliance monitoring manager, Mr. Dimitris Vlachos. The seminar, attended by executives from Swiftair, Superior Air, Dedalus, Helistar, G.A. Aviation Services, AMS Aero, Airflytech and Blue Bird Airways, took part in Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel.
