ifly at Paris Air Show 2023

ifly attended the 54th Paris Air Show 2023, held on June 19-25 in the French capital. The CEO of ifly, Mr George Verbis attended the Paris International Air Show as an honored guest of Lilium.

Lilium is the “pioneer” company designing and manufacturing of eVTOL, vertical take-off and landing electric aircraft, with a view of introducing the first “flying cars”, as they are characteristically referred to, in our country.

Greece has been recognized as the ideal country for developing the first European eVTOL network, wanting to create a new era in the air transport, due to the increased need for accessibility to remote areas and island destinations.

It is worth noting that Greece is in close cooperation with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), for the immediate issuance of the relevant European guidelines, in order to adjust national laws and regulate the integration of eVTOL within the regulatory framework. Meanwhile, ifly examines the technical issues related to the required developments to existing helipads, to accommodate modern vertical take-off and landing aircraft throughout the country.
